The Jacksons are planning to rework one of later brother Michael’s musical outtakes for a new posthumous release.
The King of Pop died in 2009 aged 50 but, according to his brother Tito, the Billie Jean star left behind a vault of material that has remained unreleased.
Now, the singer and his siblings Jermaine, Jackie and Marlon are planning to record a new track that features previously unheard work from Michael.
Tito told The Sun: “It would be so pleasing to be on a record with Michael once again. Anything that would work we would be willing to give a try and see what happens.
“It’s definitely a brilliant idea. There is more music to release. They have music. He left a few things behind.”
The singer added: “It’s beyond our control but they always try and get our participation and we’re always happy to offer.”
Talk of new music comes after Michael’s seminal album ‘Thriller’ was certified 34x platinum after selling a staggering 34 million copies in the US alone, according to data collected by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)
