Melanie C has cancelled her European shows in 2022.
The Spice Girls icon was due to hit the stage in support of her self-titled seventh studio album, but the dates have been scrapped due to rising Covid cases.
Melanie, who has been in Los Angeles, where she recently competed on ‘Dancing With the Stars’, revealed in a statement she would not be performing dates in Spain, Italy, Switzerland, and Germany.

The Blame It on Me hitmaker explained: “Due to the current COVID situation in Europe, it is with great regret that I must announce the cancellation of the European dates on my upcoming tour.
“I’m devastated to let so many of you down. My UK dates will still be going ahead, so hopefully, I will see lots of your beautiful faces there!
“Your ticket agents will be able to give you a full refund,” she added. “Lots of love, Melanie xxx.”
Melanie’s next gig is scheduled for February 12 in Glasgow and the British dates will run through February 20.
In our review of the album, Retro Pop called ‘Melanie C’ “without a doubt her most confident, polished, and exciting release to date”.
