McFly will headline one of three nights at the forthcoming Trentham Live event.
Beginning Friday, September 3, the brand-new music show is fully outdoors at Staffordshire’s Trentham Estate and offers a weekend of live music.
Headlining the opening night is McFly, who will hit the road later this year in support of their 2020 comeback LP ‘Young Dumb Thrills’.
“We are delighted to be the first headliner of Trentham Live on the 3 September,” said the group. We are told that musical greats such as The Rolling Stones and The Beatles played at The Trentham Estate in the past, so we’re in very good company.
“We can’t wait to see our fans there and perform live for them again after such a strange year”.
Meanwhile, The Vamps will be joined by ‘The X Factor’ winners Rak Su and Amy Jo as they hit the stage on Saturday night, after topping the charts last year with their fifth album ‘Cherry Blossom’.
And winding down Sunday is Alfie Boy, who will be supported by Collabro and ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ winner Jai McDowall.
Senior Director of the Trentham Estate, Alastair Budd, says: “It will be an unmissable weekend of amazing live music and entertainment for all ages.
“We’re excited to see people enjoying the fantastic grounds here once again in a safe and secure outdoor space where people can spread out and enjoy everything Trentham Live has to offer.
“Parents can also feel safe in the knowledge that they can stay onsite with plenty of free parking, shops and restaurants to enjoy.”
Tickets to the three-day Trentham Live event are on sale now.
