Mary J. Blige is preparing to release her first album in four years.
The R&B icon dropped her latest collection ‘Strength of a Woman’ in 2017 and she teased during an Instagram Live with D-Nice that the delayed record is finally coming out this winter.
She said, “It’s about to go crazy over here,” while hinting that a single is due to be released next month.
The Family Affair hitmaker previously teased her forthcoming LP is “about life, love, struggle, but mostly triumph. Because I’m learning how to rejoice in the valleys and the droughts”.
“It reflects all of our lives as women that are bosses and know that they can say they’re bosses right now,” she added.
Since her last record, Mary has released a number of singles, including the dance hit Only Love and Thriving with Nas.
