Marvin Humes is still adjusting to life in JLS ahead of the group’s highly-anticipated comeback.
The band, which finished as runners-up on ‘The X Factor’ in 2008, released four hit albums during their initial run, before calling time on the group in 2013.
Now, they’re back and, after signing with BMG to work on new music, the singer admitted reuniting with Aston Merrygold, JB Gill and Oritse Williams has been an unusual experience.
Asked if he’s excited to return to the stage for the band’s ‘Beat Again’ Tour, he told the Daily Mirror: “Yes 100 per cent. We had a little taste last February when we announced the tour.
“It was strange being back in JLS mode, but lovely to be with the boys and see the fans again.”
The trek was originally slated for late 2020, but has been pushed back to October/November 2021.
JB recently shared his excitement over the group’s new music, and confessed he’s been testing out the tracks with the cows on his farm.
He said: “We are working on new material and I do play our songs, especially the new songs, to them.
“If I sit there and study them, they make noises if they like the tracks.”
And chart-topper Ed Sheeran has also been writing for the group, recently teasing: “It’s classic JLS. And it was a real, real joy to write, a real joy to write”
