Mariah Carey looks to have new music in the works.
The diva has her focus set solely on the holidays right now, with her new single Fall in Love at Christmas, featuring Khalid and Kirk Franklin, and Apple TV+ special, ‘Mariah’s Christmas: The Magic Continues‘.
Speaking to promote the projects, however, she let slip there’s more to come in 2022 – but wouldn’t reveal exactly what she’s planning.
“There’s something exciting I’m working on for the spring,” she spilled, adding, “I haven’t told you about it yet.
“It’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time and people have asked me to do for a long time.”
When Hot 97 host Nessa pressed for more, Mariah insisted: “This is the first time I’ve told anybody about it.”
Mariah recently told fans during an online discussion: “Oh my gosh, you guys! I’m like obsessed with what I’m doing right now. But I can’t reveal it yet. It’s exciting!
“I’m really with this music. I haven’t made [music in this way] in years. During the pandemic, I was able to rest my voice and get it back to where it needs to be. So here we are!”
