Manic Street Preachers have been forced to delay their forthcoming album ‘The Ultra Vivid Lament’.
The group’s 14th album had been set to drop on September 3, but due to “a production issue relating to the global pandemic,” the record will now be released the following week.
‘The Ultra Vivid Lament’ is described by the group as “a record that gazes in isolation across a cluttered room, fogged by often painful memories, to focus on an open window framing a gleaming vista of land melting into sea and endless sky”.
Due to a production issue relating to the global pandemic, Manic Street Preachers new album ‘The Ultra Vivid Lament’ will now be released on Friday September 10th. Available on CD, vinyl and digital formats.

Ahead of its release, the band kicked off the album campaign with Orwellian and followed-up the track with second single The Secret He Had Missed.
Manic Street Preachers are set to support the album with a string of tour dates at the end of the year, with tickets on sale now.
‘The Ultra Vivid Lament’ is available on Standard and Deluxe CD, and Vinyl.
