Mae Muller will represent the United Kingdom at the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest.
The singer-songwriter will compete with her track I Wrote A Song, which is co-written by Alisha’s Attic star Karen Poole.
“To compete in such a massive music competition is simply brilliant,” she said (via BBC), calling her involvement in the show “a dream”.
Her participation was revealed on Thursday’s instalment of The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, with Mae admitting she had to keep the news secret for two months.
“I can’t say too much, but it is already looking insane,” she teased of the performance. “We’ve been working every single day, it’s just going to be amazing.”
The Grand Final of the 2023 Eurovision Song Contest will take place at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on Saturday, May 13.
