Madonna’s biopic script is almost complete. 

The Live to Tell hitmaker has been working extensively on the project over the past year and shared a glimpse at a working copy of the script with fans on Instagram. 

“Grateful for the success of Madame X, that my script is almost finished, and for the support of my beautiful children!” she penned in the caption.

Other shots in the gallery showed the singer posing with three of her kids – David Banda, and twins Stella and Estere.

Screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson could also be seen in the background of one photo; she took over from Diablo Cody, who was previously announced to be attached to the biopic, but has since departed the project. 

Madonna is said to be the co-screenwriter, producer and director. Casting for the project has not yet begun.

The Queen of Pop recently released her ‘Madame X’ concert documentary on Paramount+, along with a live album featuring tracks from the performance.

In a review of the record, Retro Pop said ‘Madame X (Music From The Theater Xperience)’ “captures the ‘Madame X’ Tour and reaffirms that she is and remains at the top of her game”.
