Lola Lennox returns with her joyous new single Love Like That.
The playfully upbeat tune is the latest in a string of releases from the star, and comes co-produced by her mum, Eurythmics icon Annie Lennox.
Of the track, she says: “When I make music, I hope to create something authentically me, something that captures the essence of a feeling or story from my life.
“For me, making music is my quest toward being myself, and finding that through the subtle art of melody, lyrics and production.
“By embracing who we are, we are then able to live in the moment, to let go of our inhibitions, and feel 100 per cent confident in our own skin.”
She adds: “Love Like That doesn’t only have to mean romantic love, it’s also an expression for having passion toward life, chasing the things that light us up and just being our own unique selves.
“Expressing a sense of joyous and spontaneous freedom, it makes you want to kick back and drink a cocktail in the sunshine.”
Lola released her debut single In The Wild at the beginning of 2020 and has since shared a series of standalone releases, including recent cut Wherever You Go.
The singer was introduced to the world stage in April 2020 when she joined Annie for a duet during the lockdown One World: Together At Home concert, sharing the billing with Elton John, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder.
