Little Boots has dropped Landline as the second single from her forthcoming fourth album.
The singer-songwriter’s latest release was unveiled as an NFT on Wednesday, November 10, before arriving on digital platforms two days later.
“Calling Alice… what’s that, new single coming soon? Landline. 12th November,” she tweeted in an announcement.
Revealing plans to initially drop the track as an NFT exclusive ahead of its wider release, she added in a follow-up post: “The potential in this space for artist ownership and music rights is phenomenal so I’m excited to be taking a first step!”
Landline will feature on the pop star’s latest album, due early 2022, alongside lead track Silver Balloons.
Alongside releasing a new album, Little Boots will be singing backing vocals, playing live keyboards and synthesisers as part of ABBA’s forthcoming ‘Voyage’ shows, beginning May 2022.
