Little Boots has released the music video for her latest single Landline.
The singer-songwriter has shared the track as the second cut from her forthcoming fourth studio album, due 2022.
“Landline is a nostalgic song about being a teenager in the ‘90s, when you would spend hours clogging up the family phone line to talk to your school boyfriend or girlfriends,” she tells FLOOD.
“I got thinking about this in lockdown as music was still something that helped me feel close to friends even if we physically couldn’t be together, emotionally you can still feel connected through a shared playlist or remembering an old track.”
Alongside the single, the multi-instrumentalist dropped a stunning visual, shot at the Poodle & Blonde location house in Margate, and an array 1970s-style high fashion looks.
It follows previous single Silver Balloons.
