In 2020, Linda and Anne Nolan faced the fight of their lives when the siblings were diagnosed with cancer within days of one another.
Flash forward 12 months, and The Nolans singers are marking one year from their diagnoses with the release of their new book, ‘Stronger Together: How We’re Living While Fighting’.
“In April, it will be exactly a year since Linda & Anne found out they would be battling cancer together,” reads a post on The Nolans’ social media pages.
“One year and a global pandemic later… They’re ready to tell the FULL story in their book, Stronger Together.”
“I am so happy to be able to share the emotional and physical experience of my recent cancer with people,” said Anne of the project.
“I hope it may help in some small way to give a little insight into the things both physically and mentally people may or may not go through with cancer.”
Linda added: “This past year has been one of extremes for all of us. It’s an honour to be given the opportunity to share our experiences.
“We both have two very different cancer stories, which we hope can bring comfort and understanding to anyone living with cancer.”
‘Stronger Together: How We’re Living While Fighting’ is available to pre-order now.

Anne was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in April, 2020. In December, doctors confirmed her cancer had “disappeared” following treatment.
Meanwhile, Linda was diagnosed with incurable liver cancer – the third time the illness has returned following her initial breast cancer diagnosis in 2006 and secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017.
After an initial bout of chemotherapy treatment, the Chemistry singer was informed that more tumours have been found on her liver.
Reflecting on her latest setback, Linda remained upbeat, sharing: “I don’t want to know if I’ve got 18 months, two years or whatever.
“The consultant was very upbeat and said there was no way we were talking about the last year of my life.”
