Leona Lewis celebrated 15 years since the release of her debut album ‘Spirit’ in a reflective social media post.
The debut album from ‘The X Factor’ winner features the global smash hit single Bleeding Love, along with Better in Time, Footprints in the Sand and I Will Be.
Marking the milestone, the hitmaker penned: “Today marks 15 years since I released My first album Spirit. I’m truly astounded by how much you connected with the songs and how much love you’ve shown me throughout the years.
“This record is a culmination of all the love, loss, pain and joy I felt in the years leading up to it. It’s so incredibly special to me because it has allowed me into your hearts and given me a place to share mine.
“I’m so deeply grateful to be on this journey with you all and I still have so much more to share. Thank you for 15 years of Spirit.”
The Happy singer added: “I’ve seen so many of you asking for Spirit on vinyl and I’m so excited that we will be releasing it! More details to come, so thankful for you today and always.”
Leona’s last full-length project, ‘I Am’, came out in 2015, and last year she released an expanded reissue of her 2013 holiday album, ‘Christmas, With Love‘.
