Lana Del Rey has released a surprise cover of the John Denver classic, Take Me Home, Country Roads.

Recorded with producer Zachary Dawes, the single rounds out a year that saw the singer-songwriter release her ninth album, ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’.

On her recent song, The Grants, she sings, ‘Like ‘Rocky Mountain High,’ the way John Denver sings’, while the cover comes on the back of her US tour, which focussed largely on the South and Appalachia.
