Rina Sawayama appears to have confirmed her feature on Lady Gaga’s upcoming ‘Chromatica’ remix album
The singer topped charts worldwide with her sixth studio album in 2020 and, earlier this year, producer BloodPop hinted Gaga is planning to revisit the set for a remix project.
“In theory – which artists would y’all want to see on a Chromatica remix album (and on what song),” he penned, adding, “CC @rinasawayama.”
And after the Chosen Family star responded with a suspicious smiling emoji, she went on to address speculation surrounding the collaboration on the BRITs red carpet this week.

When asked by Heat magazine’s Liv Marks “what is happening” with the project, the rising star confirmed: “Well… I have done my bit, let’s just say that. So, it’s in the works.”
While Rina didn’t explicitly reveal the song she’d worked on, the singer teased, “It’s a song that was hard to sing with my new braces,” leading Liv to probe as to whether she’d re-recorded lead track Alice.
“My ‘S’s are actually fine… it’s my ‘F’s [that are a problem],” Rina smiled, all but confirming she appears on a new version of Free Woman.
‘Chromatica’ was met with widespread acclaim and features the hits Stupid Love, Rain on Me with Ariana Grande and 911.
Meanwhile, Rina is no stranger to working with Bloodpop – the pair collaborated on Lucid from the deluxe re-release of her debut album, ‘SAWAYAMA’.
