Kylie Minogue is among the stars set to take part in this year’s Comic Relief telecast.
The live fundraising event, which is set to air on BBC1 on March 17, features an array of stars helping to raise money to help vulnerable people across the UK.
As part of the show, the Come Into My World singer will feature in a one-off special of the BBC comedy show ‘Ghosts’.
She will be joined on the night by funnyman Lenny Henry, actress Amanda Holden, The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge, DJ Greg James, stand-up comic Sindhu Vee and comedian Miranda Hart.
Elsewhere in the show, broadcaster Gethin Jones will be participating in a 24-hour dance challenge, beginning on March 16, from the ‘Morning Live’ studio.
There’ll also be a parody of ‘Love Island’, featuring an “unexpected” contestant on the search for love.
Comic Relief was co-founded by Lenny Henry and Richard Curtis back in 1985, with the latter saying of its impact: “I always believe that if you open a door, an easy door for people to do the right thing, then millions of people pour through it.”
The comedian added: “Doing Red Nose Day right now, when times are truly difficult, makes me think — this is exactly why we set it up.
“Comic Relief has been built on the urgent need to help people in crisis and right now donations are needed more than ever. Seeing families, friends, kids, teachers and colleagues come together to help raise this incredible amount of money is remarkable.
“To still donate despite the challenging time we are in, shows the kindness of our country.”
