Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan have shared a first glimpse of their return to ‘Neighbours’ for the soap’s final episodes.
The pair will reprise their roles as Charlene and Scott one final time as the show comes to an end and, taking to social media, they both offered a look at their big comeback.
Alongside a gallery of snaps, including himself and Kylie together on set, along with the famous Ramsay Street sign and the cover of a script for their return, Jason penned: “So good to be back with this absolute legend @kylieminogue
“Scott and Charlene final scenes.”
Meanwhile, in her own post Kylie referenced the duo’s hit single Especially For You, writing: “‘Now we’re back together’.”
Speaking about their comeback in a statement on social media, executive producer Jason Herbison said: “Scott and Charlene are the ultimate Neighbours couple and it would not feel right to end the show without them.
“We are thrilled that Jason and Kylie have come home to play a very special part in our series finale. It has been an emotional experience for them, for us and I’m sure it will be for our viewers.”
