Kylie Minogue is eager to explore different avenues as she works on new music.
The pop legend made waves internationally with her electro-pop smash Padam Padam last year, but don’t expect her to deliver more of the same.
Speaking to NME, Kylie revealed she “likes all change” and wants to try her hand at something fresh.
“I just love collaboration and stepping into different [genres]. Being malleable and seeing what’s possible,” she shared.
“I like all change. Who would’ve thought I’d do a murder ballad with Nick Cave [1996’s Where The Wild Roses Grow]? Or sing with Kermit the Frog?
“There are so many artists I love, and every collaboration takes you somewhere you didn’t know you’d go. So watch this space!”
It comes ad Kylie hinted she may experiment with indie-folk for her next release, and admitted it is one of her “happy places”.
The BRITs Global Icon winner – who performed a medley of hits during Saturday’s (March 2) show – shared: “I just listen to playlists of one song I like, which leads me down this trippy path.
“Who should I seek out tonight? Just putting it out there that indie-pop-folk is one of my happy places.”
