Kylie Minogue is as obsessed with the white horse statue she rides in her Say Something video as we are.
The Pop Princess dropped the official music video for the lead single from her upcoming 15th album, DISCO, on Friday, with the overtly-camp offering seeing the star own the universe as a galactic disco goddess.
Alongside retro ’70s special effects, an abundance of glitter and plenty of hunky, topless dancers, Kylie also offers a nod to Bianca Jagger, who famously rode a white horse on the Studio 54 dance floor.
Reflecting on the moment in an interview with The Herald Sun, the hitmaker gushed: “The horse was the star of the show. I don’t think my galactic steed was designed to be ridden, but I fell in love with him, he was gorgeous.”
Kylie also opened up on shooting the video, which was directed by longtime collaborator Sophie Muller, during the coronavirus pandemic.
“It was a different shoot with the restrictions but it felt good to be back on set,” she shared with the publication.
“I hope when people see it, it takes them to another level and away to wherever their happy place is.”
