Kylie Minogue fans are convinced the star is teaming up with US producer Mark Picchiotti on new music.
The pair previously collaborated on the brilliant Give It To Me from Fever and, after Mark took to Instagram to share snippets of new music he’s working on, followers began speculating that they could be teasers for KM15.
“Here’s a tease of my next #disco flavored track,” he penned in the caption to one clip, shared back in May.
Backing vocals in the track sing the line, “Love Is The Message,” which many fans also thought could be a possible song title.
Take a listen – sounds like a perfect Kylie track to us!
Last week, Mark returned to Instagram with another disco-tinged track, adding below the clip: “New studio vibes! Here’s a little taste of a disco track im working on at the moment.”
In the latest video, he confirmed the song was for a female singer, but he’d taken the vocals out to keep fans guessing.
Over the intro to the track, he said the mystery songstress would “usually be wailing” and, while we wouldn’t consider Kylie to be a wailer (I mean, who knows…), we’re more than happy to be surprised.
Because, when that beat drops, it d r o p s.
Fortunately for us, Mark teased that we’ll “hopefully be hearing it soon” – which means there’s still time for Kylie to come out and save summer 2020!
Kylie previously spoke about her new album as being “pure pop fun”, and confirmed she’s been working on the project remotely during lockdown.
