Kylie Minogue will release a reworked edition of her latest, chart-topping album, ‘Tension’, on December 8.
‘Extension (The Extended Mixes)’ features reworked versions of the 11 songs featured on the standard edition of the LP, including the singles Padam Padam and Tension, and latest release Hold On To Now.
Pre-order ‘Extension (The Extended Mixes)’ on limited edition double splatter vinyl from Kylie’s Official Store.
The announcement comes 24 hours before the Aussie superstar will launch her ‘More Than Just A Residency’ shows at The Venetian in Las Vegas on November 3, marking her first extended run in Sin City.
At a Los Angeles launch for the dates, Kylie opened up about her plans for the concerts, which will encompass her greatest hits rather than tying in directly with the release of the new album.
“I want it to be the kind of essence of what a Kylie show has become, enough glamour and abandon,” she shared. “I’ve got some versions of songs that have not been heard, like reinterpretations of songs, which is exciting. Live bed dances, amazing costumes.
“That’s the base and then we’ll see what surprises we can come up with,” the Aussie star revealed, while admitting she feels like she’s “earned the right” to take her concert experience to Vegas.

“I was thinking years ago I want to do it when I’m younger like, I don’t want to do it when I’m at the sunset of my career,” she smiled of the show, which will feature tracks from her forthcoming album, ‘Tension’, alongside hits such as Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Spinning Around and Slow.
In a review of the album, RETROPOP called ‘Tension’ “a great pop record and a testament to Kylie’s continued relevance and indisputable legacy as one of greatest pop stars of all time”.
