Kylie and Jason’s classic duet Especially For You is the biggest-selling Stock Aitken Waterman single of all time.

The classic track, which saw the former Neighbours co-stars and real-life lovers get “back together” for the rousing ballad, sold over 1 million copies – one of only two tracks from Mike Stock, Matt Aitken and Pete Waterman to do so.

In second place, and also a million-seller, is Rick Astley’s iconic Never Gonna Give You Up, which sold 300,000 more copies than its closest competitor, Kylie’s I Should Be So Lucky.

Dead or Alive’s You Spin Me Round (Like A Record) is in fourth place while Band Aid 2’s Do They Know It’s Christmas rounds out the top five.

In addition to securing the top spot, Kylie and Jason dominate the rest of the Top 50, with 12 and six entries, respectively. Rick Astley has five, Bananarama four, and Sinitta three – not including spots on group recordings.
