Kim Wilde celebrates four decades of music as her ‘Pop Don’t Stop – The Greatest Hits’ collection makes its long-awaited debut on vinyl.
The ‘80s icon rocketed into the charts with her debut single Kids in America – co-written by dad Marty and brother Ricky – in 1981 and went on to score massive hits including Chequered Love, Cambodia, You Came, Love Is Holy and the US No. 1 You Keep Me Hangin’ On.
Looking back on her incredible legacy, Kim unveiled her latest collection last year across CD and DVD formats, bringing together her best-loved singles, album cuts, B-sides, remixes and new tracks, along with exclusive video content, for the first time.
Now, an abridged version of the set is available on wax, collecting her best-loved tunes from across the decades, from her self-titled debut through to her 2018 comeback LP ‘Here Come The Aliens’.
Alongside her most successful UK releases, international singles such as Million Miles Away, Who Do You Think You Are, Perfect Girl and Lights Down Low also feature on the release, which documents her career chronologically.
Meanwhile, the inclusion of two new tracks – Shine On with Boy George and the Tom Aspaul collaboration You’re My Karma – looks to the future, proving 40 years into her career, Kim Wilde remains at the top of her game.
Not only is ‘Pop Don’t Stop – The Greatest Hits’ the most cohesive documentation of her work yet, but the vinyl edition, pressed on stunning red & white splatter wax, is a must-have for diehard fans and casual listeners alike.
