Kim Wilde is back with her new single Trail Of Destruction out August 23.
The track is the first to be lifted from the ’80s icon’s forthcoming album ‘Closer’ – billed as a “sister” project to her classic LP ‘Close’, featuring hits like Hey Mister Heartache, You Came, Never Trust A Stranger and Four Letter Word.

In an announcement on social media, Kim confirmed the single will also be available on limited edition 7″ vinyl, which is available to pre-order here.
‘Closer’ is the follow-up to 2018’s ‘Here Come The Aliens’ and will see the pop icon embark on a tour of the UK throughout March 2025.
Kim has been working on the new album with her brother, Ricky, who has co-written many of her hit singles throughout the years and recently teased the new project in a post on X.
“Cannot begin to tell you how excited I am for you to hear Kim’s @kimwilde new album.. honestly think it’s the best yet! Bangin’ baby,” he said.
