Kesha is celebrating the 15 year anniversary of her debut album ‘Animal’ and subsequent ‘Cannibal’ with an all-new deluxe edition.
Available digitally on Friday (November 2) and on 2LP vinyl and 2CD early next year, the release features both original projects along with five bonus tracks – including two previously-unreleased songs.
These include Butterscotch (produced by the late busbee and Michael Linney, and originally intended for ‘Animal’) and Shots On The Hood Of My Car (recorded in 2010 for inclusion on ‘Cannibal’).
In a post on Instagram about the record – which spawned such hits as TiKToK, Your Love Is My Drug, Take It Off and We R Who We R – Kesha said: “Animals. It’s been 15 years since animal & cannibal.
“I can’t believe the balls I had as a young broke girl, at the silver platter, jumbos clown room, riding around Los Angeles in my trans am, fucking shit up listening to my records in the eagles house up Laurel canyon, visiting my friends at the drunk tank, watching the sunrise drinking gold shlaager up at the Hollywood sign.
“I have literally grown up in front and beside all of you. Thank you for singing with me, dancing with me, loving me and being beside me for everything.
TikTok on the clock but the party don’t stop.”
‘Animal + Cannibal (Deluxe)’ is out on CD & vinyl on March 27, 2026 and available to pre-order from Amazon, HMV, Rough Trade, Townsend and more.
