Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden have been approached to front their own TV and radio shows.
The former Boyzone and Westlife stars, who now perform as Boyzlife and will release their debut album, Strings Attached, on Friday, told the Daily Star they’ve been presented with numerous offers over the years.
“There have been talks of doing our own TV shows and radio, and things have been on the table,” said Brian.
However, according to Brian, “Our number one love is making music, and performing live on stage…
“For now we are focusing on the music… It runs through our blood,” he added.
Meanwhile, Keith also addressed a possible return to Coronation Street as heartthrob Ciaran McCarthy, who last appeared on the show in 2012.
“I was in Corrie on and off for 10 years and every year rumours start that I am going back,” he said, adding that he’s “still very friendly with the producers and they left the situation open for my character to return.
“There have been times in the past where they have asked me to come back for a brief period here and there, and to be honest I have never been in the position to be able to do it, I have always had something else on,” Keith said.
Boyzlife were due to perform at the Live Nation Drive-In concert series, which was axed on Wednesday amid renewed coronavirus fears. However, the pair will be playing a string of UK dates beginning April 2021 – tickets are available here.
