Katrina from Katrina & the Waves is writing new music for Nicki French.
The Eurovision legends met up for lunch on Thursday and, after chatting about future plans, are teaming up on a new track for Nicki’s forthcoming album album.
“I’m going to write a song for Nicki’s new album,” tweeted Katrina. “Got lots of prompts from our lunch so watch this space ya’ll.”
She added: “My Girls are so important to me and I love them… Pour your heart out. I will write that song. Thank you.”
Anybody who is following a songwriter’s journey need to know it’s a process. I will keep you posted. I’ve got a good grasp on a new song.

The new track will feature on the forthcoming follow-up to Nicki’s brilliant 2018 album, Glitter to the Neon Lights, which featured singles including Steal The Crown and On Your Marks, Get Set, Go Away.
Her latest release, Haunted Heart, is set to drop on Friday, October 26th.
