Katrina Leskanich – frontwoman of Katrina and the Waves – is back with her brand new single Shut Your Mouth.
The rocking single is the first release from the Eurovision winner since her 2020 album ‘Hearts Loves & Babys’ and was written and recorded in New York with producer Jimi Bones.
“We had a lot of fun doing masses of backing vocals,” says the singer. “With all the noise in the world it was kinda fun to shout Shut Your Mouth a few hundred times.”
Over the feisty chorus of the guitar-driven tune, she belts: ‘All your talking is driving me crazy / So for God sakes, just shut your big fat mouth’.

Katrina and the Waves debuted in 1982 and the following year released the first version of Walking On Sunshine. Two years later, it was re-released on Capitol Records and became a global Top 10 hit.
Going on to achieve success throughout the eighties and early-nineties, the US-fronted group represented the UK at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest and eventually won with their ballad Love Shine A Light.
