Kate Bush’s Running Up That Hill has proven popular with viewers of season four of ‘Stranger Things’.
The Netflix show features the iconic track in its opening episode, along with future instalments associated with the character of Max Mayfield, portrayed by Sadie Sink.
Streams of the song have increased by 153 per cent following the debut of the series on Friday, May 27, with Spotify calling it “the biggest gainer on the Global Spotify chart”
The song also went to number one on iTunes.
Running Up That Hill was the first single to be released from Bush’s album ‘Hounds of Love’ and went on to become the biggest hit of that era.
The soundtrack to Part One of ‘Stranger Things’ season four is out now. Part Two debuts on July 1.
