Jo O’Meara has released her cover of John Waite’s Missing You.
The track is featured on the former S Club star’s forthcoming second solo album ‘With Love’, out August 27.
The pop-rock tune remains faithful to the original, chart-topping recording while showcasing the singer’s powerhouse vocals.
Speaking to Retro Pop, Jo said of the track: “The cover songs [on the album] are songs which I really love. Missing You is an all time classic.”
The new release follows previous singles On The Surface and Sweet Surrender, both of which were co-written by the star.
In an album announcement, Jo said: “I’ve made this album with all my love, but I’m also sending it with love to all the fans out there that have been so supportive to me for all of these years, through the ups and downs.
“I’m so proud of what I’ve done with this album, and I can’t wait for everyone to hear it.”
