JB Gill is the latest star to be confirmed to take part in ‘Strictly Come Dancing’.
The JLS singer has joined the line-up for the 2024 edition of the BBC One show – its 20th overall – having previously appeared on the show’s 2012 Christmas special.
In an announcement, he said: “I danced in the ‘Strictly’ Christmas special over a decade ago and LOVED it, so when I got the call to join ‘Strictly’ this year, it was an immediate yes from me.
“I’m raring to go to and looking forward to showing off some new skills to the JLS boys. From muddy wellies on the fields of my farm to sequins and Glitterballs – I’m here to embrace it all!”
The news was revealed on ITV’s ‘This Morning’.
Gill was partnered with professional dancer Ola Jordan on the holiday special and emerged triumphant alongside a line-up starring actress Sheila Hancock, comedian Katy Brand, ‘Blue Peter’ presenter Helen Skelton, comedy performer Bobby Ball and retired footballer Fabrice Muamba.
Also confirmed to take part in this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ is comedian Chris McCausland, who will be the show’s first blind contestant.
