Jennifer Lopez is reportedly in talks with Rita Ora about collaborating on new film and music projects.
According to The Sun, the pair recently hooked up in LA and discussed plans for the future, including a potential collaboration and movie ideas. .
An insider said: “Jennifer is a huge fan of Rita’s, and vice versa.
“They’ve long wanted to get together and finally their schedules aligned after Rita had finished filming The Voice in Australia.
“J.Lo and Rita met at Soho House in LA and spent a couple of hours talking about what they could possibly do together. Nothing was off limits and they talked about both music and films.”
They continued: “J.Lo’s career trajectory is something that Rita very much wants to emulate.
“She started off in music like J.Lo did, before branching off into films and TV.
“There was a real sense of a mutual appreciation between the women and if they do manage to work together on a song or film, it will be incredible.”
Hot Right Now star Rita has made no secret of her love for singer-actress Jennifer, who recently inked an exclusive production deal with Netflix, admitting back in 2018: “One of my biggest inspirations is Jennifer Lopez.
“She’s really hard-working. I see how much she does and I’m like, ‘I want to do that’.”
The On The Floor star recently took to social media to tease new music set to drop in the coming months.
Sharing a snap of herself in the recording booth, the Dance Again singer wrote: “Sexy summer fun coming.”
The new release will be Jennifer’s first single since 2020’s In The Morning. Meanwhile, it’s been seven years since she released her most recent studio album ‘A.K.A.’ in 2014.
