Jason Donovan has been forced to axe a handful of dates from his forthcoming ‘Even More Good Reasons’ Tour due to issues surrounding the coronavirus vaccine rollout.
The Too Many Broken Hearts star had been set to hit the stage on September 13 for his latest trek, which sees the singer perform his musical and pop hits backed by a live band.
However, the anticipated start date meant members of the production would not be double vaccinated in enough time to begin rehearsals, prompting Jason to push the jaunt back to October.

In an announcement, he explained: “It’s with a heavy heart that for one final time, we have had to move around some of the Even More Good Reasons shows.
“As it stands, not all of our team would have been double vaccinated by [the] time we were due to start rehearsals.
“We hoped to have all of our musicians and crew double jabbed by early September so that we have the best chance of not having to cancel any shows during the tour because of Covid.”
While the majority of dates have been rescheduled, stops in Yeovil, Plymouth, Swansea, Hastings, Folkestone, Margate, Ipswich, Kings Lynn, Hull, Cheltenham and Llandudno have been cancelled.
“There will inevitably be some disappointments and there are no words to express how sorry we are,” he added.
“We hope as many of you as possible will still be able to get to a show. And what a show it will be once we eventually get to put that curtain up!”
The ‘Even More Good reasons’ Tour was originally slated for 2020 – following the star’s stint on ‘Dancing on Ice’ – but was pushed back to 2021 due to coronavirus.
