Pulp will return to the stage in 2023 with a huge UK and Ireland tour over the summer.
Following much speculation on the back of frontman Jarvis Cocker’s teaser that the band would reform next year, the group has announced a run of dates beginning in May.
“Three months ago, we asked, ‘What exactly do you do for an encore?’,” penned the vocalist in an announcement.

“Well… An encore happens when the crowd makes enough noise to bring the band back to the stage. So… We are playing in the UK and Ireland in 2023.
“Therefore… Come along and make some noise. See you there.”
As part of the trek, Pulp will headline a number of festivals, including Isle Of Wight, TRNSMT, Latitude and Neighbourhood Weekender.
Meanwhile, it’s been confirmed that Wet Leg will be joining them at their Finsbury Park show, with Richard Hawley – who was a member of Pulp in the early ’00s – due to open at both of their hometown gigs in Sheffield.
Tickets for the shows are on sale now.
