The nominees for the 2025 Songwriters Hall of Fame have been revealed, with Janet Jackson and Boy George among those shortlisted.
Full details of this year’s nominees were unveiled on Tuesday, November 12, with 26 names appearing across two categories: performing and non-performing songwriters.
Only six will be awarded the honour, totalling three from each category.
Other nominees in the performing category include Eminem, Sheryl Crow, Alanis Morissette, Bryan Adams and more, with Mike Chapman, Sonny Curtis, Walter Afanasieff, Rodney Jerkins, Roger Nichols and more in the non-performing category.
Voting members have until December 22 to cast their votes, with the inductees expected to be announced in the new year, ahead of the 2025 Induction & Awards Gala in New York City in June.
