Janet Jackson is set to return to the stage with her North American ‘Together Again Tour’.
Named after her 1997 hit single, the show will feature the superstar’s classic recordings along with brand new material.
The run will kick off on April 14 in Hollywood, Florida, and will conclude at Seattle, Washington’s Climate Pledge Arena on June 21.
Ludacris will be joining Jackson as a special guest across all 33 dates.
“Really can’t wait to see u guys,” the Nasty singer wrote on Twitter.
Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, Janet had been set to hit the road on her ‘Black Diamond’ tour, but the shows were later axed with no rescheduled dates,
Of its accompanying album – which would be her 12th overall – she was quoted as saying: “It’s so funny because I see the fans asking, ‘When are we going to get ‘Black Diamond’? Will you please release?’
“Sometimes things happen that you don’t expect to happen, and you have to figure things out, or you’re in a space in your life when you have to take a step back and take a break for a minute.
“Even though it’s something that I absolutely love, it still is my work, my job. There will be music at some point. Exactly when? I can’t say just yet, but there will be.
“I love it too much not to do it.”
