James Blunt recreated the music video for his classic hit You’re Beautiful to encourage donations to ‘Stand Up To Cancer’.
The singer-songwriter filmed the clip for the UK fundraiser, in which he appealed to fans to share whatever they could to support the organisation.
In the reworked lyrics, the star tells viewers there are numerous ways to donate – via phone, text or online – and includes all the details needed to get through.
Sharing the clip on social media, ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ wrote: “You truly are beautiful, @JamesBlunt! We’re loving the #StandUpToCancer remix.”
The clip comes as James prepares to release his first-ever greatest hits album ‘The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004-2021)’, featuring his best-loved singles from debut release ‘Back to Bedlam’ through to 2019’s ‘Once Upon a Mind’.
Also included are four new tracks (Love Under Pressure, Unstoppable, Adrenaline and I Came For Love), as well as four exclusive live performances.
In addition to the 30-track LP, James is also hitting the road in 2022 for his UK Greatest Hits Tour, which runs through February. Tickets are on sale now.
‘The Stars Beneath My Feet (2004-2021)’ is out November 19 and available to pre-order now.
