James Blunt trolled fans by claiming he’s working with Harry Styles on new music.
The You’re Beautiful singer seemed to share a snap of himself and the former One Direction star on social media, but it didn’t take long for fans to figure the photo is actually of Harry and photographer Ryan McGinley.
In a post on Twitter, James penned: “Writing new songs in LA with @Harry_Styles.”

The Goodbye My Lover star recently confessed the pandemic has been “very good” for him as it forced him to take some necessary downtime.
“I was supposed to be on the tour for a year and I was sent home,” James told the Henley Standard. “And, you know, for me that was probably a very good thing because I haven’t spent time at home with my family, ever.
“I’ve been promising that I would take a year off from music at some stage, but I was lying, probably.
“And so this is very good — to spend time at home, do things that adults do and family people do. And so perhaps it was a blessing in disguise for me.”
He released his latest album ‘Once Upon a Mind’ in 2019 – the same year Harry dropped his second solo LP ‘Fine Line’, featuring the hits Adore You and Watermelon Sugar.
