“I’ll be performing some of my favourite tracks from throughout my career and no doubt answering some surprising questions from the audience. I can’t wait to share this moment with you all.”
Fiona Clark, Creative Director, Lifted Entertainment, added: “‘An Audience With’ is the ultimate night in and night out all in one, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome the icon that is Kylie to this legendary show.”
Katie Rawcliffe, Head of Entertainment Commissioning at ITV, continued: “Kylie is unquestionably a music superstar, which makes her the perfect next headline star to front An Audience with. We look forward to another unmissable evening.”
‘An Audience with Kylie’ will air on ITV1, ITVX and STV and STV Player on December 1.
The special follows the launch of Kylie’s first-ever Las Vegas residency, which will premiere following the release of her 16th album, ‘Tension’, featuring the hit single Padam Padam.
At a Los Angeles launch for the dates, Kylie opened up about her plans for the concerts, which will encompass her greatest hits rather than tying in directly with the release of the new album.
“I want it to be the kind of essence of what a Kylie show has become, enough glamour and abandon,” she shared. “I’ve got some versions of songs that have not been heard, like reinterpretations of songs, which is exciting. Live bed dances, amazing costumes.
“That’s the base and then we’ll see what surprises we can come up with,” the Aussie star revealed, while admitting she feels like she’s “earned the right” to take her concert experience to Vegas.

“I was thinking years ago I want to do it when I’m younger like, I don’t want to do it when I’m at the sunset of my career,” she smiled of the show, which will feature tracks from her forthcoming album, ‘Tension’, alongside hits such as Can’t Get You Out Of My Head, Spinning Around and Slow.
Kylie will open her Las Vegas show at the Voltaire nightclub at The Venetian on November 4.
Ahead of the launch, Kylie will release ‘Tension’, of which she says: “I started this album with an open mind and a blank page. Unlike my last two albums there wasn’t a ‘theme’, it was about finding the heart or the fun or the fantasy of that moment and always trying to service the song.
“I wanted to celebrate each song’s individuality and to dive into that freedom. I would say it’s a blend of personal reflection, club abandon and melancholic high.”
For the LP, the pop icon has worked with a number of producers, with seven of the tracks being produced and co-written with her long-time collaborators, Biff Stannard and Duck Blackwell.
Discussing the recording process, Kylie adds: “I loved being back in the studio with my collaborators but was also able to benefit from remote recording, which we have all got used to – my mobile studio never left my side for a year and a half!
“The album is a mix of songs I have written and songs which really spoke to me. Making this album helped me navigate challenging times and celebrate the now. I hope it accompanies listeners on their own journeys and becomes part of their story.”
