Bon Jovi and Charli XCX are leading the race for this week’s UK No. 1 album.
Both acts have new music out this week with ‘Forever‘ and ‘Brat’, respectively’, and the US rockers are slightly ahead at the midweek point with their 16th studio set.
Charli – who just surprise-released a deluxe edition of the record with bonus material – is just 1,300 chart units behind the current frontrunners with her sixth studio record.
If it maintains its lead, ‘Forever’ could become Bon Jovi’s sixth UK chart-topper, having previously hit No. 1 with ‘New Jersey’ (1988), ‘Keep The Faith’ (1992), the compilation ‘Cross Road’ (1994), ‘These Days’ (1995) and ‘Crush’ (2000).
Meanwhile, Charli last hit No. 1 with her 2022 most-recent LP ‘Crash’.
