I Monster have announced details of the 20th anniversary edition of their acclaimed second album, ‘Neveroddoreven’.

Due March 29, the double-disc set includes the original album plus a bonus disc of material unearthed from the album sessions and three brand new tracks.

Meanwhile, a single CD version features the original album, the three new tracks plus the acoustic version of Daydream In Blue.

‘Neveroddoreven’ was originally released in July 2003, with a re-vamped version featuring new artwork and a revised tracklisting following in 2004, which is included in the new reissue.

Ahead of the release, the duo – starring Dean Honer and Jarrod Gosling – has shared one of the new tracks, The Desert, across digital platforms.

Speaking of the release, they said: “The Desert forms a forces of nature duology with the previous single The Weather. The track highlights the extremity of mother nature’s power over man’s puny existence. 

“We may run with it but in the end we will always be mere fibres in the threads of the universe. Vocals are provided with siren-like beckoning by Tiana Krahn and Tara Busch – both previous I Monster collaborators.”

The 20th anniversary edition of ‘Neveroddoreven’ is out March 29 via Dharma Records. Listen to The Desert below.
