Hazell Dean has dropped the JNR remix of her latest single, 100% Pure Love.
Written by the Hi-NRG superstar and Clive Scott, the track is described by Hazell as a “summer banger” with the original version produced by the hitmaker and her longtime collaborator, Pete Ware.
“This single is dedicated to my beautiful Trans friends and the Trans community with 100% Pure Love always Hazell xxx,” reads a message on the artwork for the physical release.
It’s Hazell’s first release since 2022’s Suddenly Love Came Around and a return to the dance sound that landed her hits like Searchin’ (I Gotta Find a Man), Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go) and Who’s Leaving Who.

Back in 2021, Hazell announced her retirement from live performing, but in the time since has released a series of compilation LPs and the mini-album, ‘8’.
Addressing the decision, she recently told RETROPOP: “I couldn’t give music up completely – it’s been my whole life since I was seven years old. I’ve always sang, so you can’t just cut it off.
“That’s why it’s nice that I can go into the studio and be creative; that keeps my musical thing going. There’s definitely more music to come. There’s still a couple of years in me yet.”
