Hazell Dean has shared her shimmering new disco single, 100% Pure Love.
Written by the Hi-NRG superstar and Clive Scott, and produced with longtime collaborator Pete Ware, the track is described by Hazell as a “summer banger”.
“This single is dedicated to my beautiful Trans friends and the Trans community with 100% Pure Love always Hazell xxx,” reads a message on the artwork for the physical release, which includes a trio of remixes and instrumentals.
It’s Hazell’s first release since 2022’s Suddenly Love Came Around and a return to the dance sound that landed her hits like Searchin’ (I Gotta Find a Man), Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go) and Who’s Leaving Who.

Back in 2021, Hazell announced her retirement from live performing, but in the time since has released a series of compilation LPs and the mini-album, ‘8’.
Addressing the decision, she recently told RETROPOP: “I couldn’t give music up completely – it’s been my whole life since I was seven years old. I’ve always sang, so you can’t just cut it off.
“That’s why it’s nice that I can go into the studio and be creative; that keeps my musical thing going. There’s definitely more music to come. There’s still a couple of years in me yet.”
