Hazell Dean has released her new single Suddenly Love Came Around.
The Whatever I Do (Wherever I Go) hitmaker returns with a rare ballad for her latest offering, with a limited run of CDs selling out shortly after pre-orders began.
“And just like that all the CDs were gone,” she penned. “I can’t wait for y’all to hear ‘Suddenly Love Came Around’
“Guaranteed to make you feel warm & fuzzy, you WILL be singing along!”
Of the single, Hazell told us: “It’s an original song. It’s not a Christmas song, but it’ll work. It’s a ballad, I’ll give you that.”
Last year, the Who’s Leaving Who star announced her retirement from live performing, but in the time since has released a series of compilation LPs and the mini-album ‘8’.
Addressing the decision, she recently told Retro Pop: “I couldn’t give music up completely – it’s been my whole life since I was seven years old. I’ve always sang, so you can’t just cut it off.
“That’s why it’s nice that I can go into the studio and be creative; that keeps my musical thing going. There’s definitely more music to come. There’s still a couple of years in me yet.”
Suddenly Love Came Around is out digitally December 12, with CDs shipping December 19.
