Harry Styles is reportedly set to ink a deal for a huge residency at the Las Vegas Sphere.
According to The New York Post, the former One Direction star is set to be the latest artist to headline the state of the art venue, with as many as 35 shows from the Watermelon Sugar star apparently slated for later this year.
Sources tell the publication: “For the Sphere to continue to be on everyone’s radar they need to book some real ‘live’ artists like Styles. Almost everything at the Sphere has been geared for the 60-and-over crowd – The Eagles and The Dead, and even U2.”
The outlet also noted that the As Is Was singer – who is working on his fourth solo LP – is managed by Jeffrey Azoff, the son of Irving Azoff, who has previously worked with U2, the Eagles and Dead & Co. – all of whom have previously secured residencies at the Sphere.
When asked by the Post about the speculation, Styles’ management team, Full Stop, declined to comment and a spokesperson for the Sphere said: “We do not comment on any artists performing at Sphere except for those who have been announced.”
