Halsey has released her new song Lucky.
Written by the star and produced by Michael Uzowuru, Rahm Silverglade and Dylan Wiggins, the single features interpolations of Britney Spears‘ 2000 track of the same name and Monica‘s 1998 hit Angel Of Mine.
“When I was 5, it always felt like Britney was singing directly to me,” they said in an Instagram post. “24 years later, these words hit different. love you forever.”
Alongside the track, a music video comes directed by Gia Coppola, with cinematography by Alexis Zabe, and features a cameo from American actor Simon Rex.
