The race for this week’s UK No. 1 album is hotting up as Gorillaz, Adam Lambert and Gracie Abrams are locked in three-way battle for the top spot.
Damon Albarn and co. are on course to claim their second chart-topper – their first in 17 years – with ‘Cracker Island’, but it’s far from a done deal.
Close behind at two is Gracie, whose first full-length collection ‘Good Riddance’ is close behind at No. 2, while Adam’s covers collection ‘High Drama’ comes in at No. 4 in the midweeks (via OfficialCharts.com).
Last week’s No. 1, P!nk’s ‘Trustfall’, drops to No. 3, while another newcomer, ‘One In A Thousand’ from Obey Robots, rounds out the Top 5.
Over on the Singles Chart, there’s little change, with Miley Cyrus (Flowers), PinkPantheress (Boy’s A Liar), and SZA (Kill Bill) occupying the Top 3 spots.
On the back of a new remix with Ariana Grande, The Weeknd’s 2017 track Die For You climbs to No. 4, while another classic track – Miguel’s 2011 release Sure Thing – is at No. 5.
The UK Albums and Singles Chart will be announced Friday at 6pm GMT.
