Gladys Knight will return to the UK stage one final time in 2024 as she prepares to embark on her ‘Farewell Tour’.
The Empress Of Soul – who began her career in the 1950s performing with The Pips and went on to garner an iconic songbook including Help Me Make It Through The Night, Licence To Kill and The Way We Were – will launch the run on June 24 in Glasgow.
She’ll take in Birmingham, Swansea, Bournemouth, Nottingham and Southend, among which a date at London’s Royal Albert Hall takes place on June 27.
For the shows, Knight will be joined by special guest Mica Miller, who has quickly become one of the UK’s most exciting soul stars and has supported artists including Lionel Richie and Gregory Porter.
