Gary Numan will perform his 998th, 999th and 1000th live shows at London’s Electric Ballroom.
The electronic music pioneer – who scored early success with Tubeway Army before carving a decades-spanning solo career – revealed plans to celebrate his latest milestone in style.
“I never imagined when I first started doing this a lifetime ago that I’d still be doing it, and still loving it, 1,000 shows later,” he posted on social media.
In my career I’ve played, so far, 997 GN shows. To celebrate the 1,000 milestone I'm playing 3 shows, 998, 999, & 1,000 at the Electric Ballroom, London on April 13, 14 & 15. These will be extra special for me as my daughter Raven will be the support. Ticket info next. pic.twitter.com/Dv1E6YccIc

“But I am, and I do, and I’m excited to be celebrating such an important milestone with the fans over three epic nights at the Electric Ballroom in London.”
The Are ‘Friends’ Electric? hitmaker will be joined on the run by his eldest daughter Raven, who last year joined her father at Wembley Arena for performances of Is This World Not Enough? and Every Day I Die.
His return to the live stage comes on the back of Gary’s 2021 album ‘Intruder’, which peaked at No. 2 in the UK, and the paperback release of his memoir ‘(R)evolution: The Autobiography.’
Tickets go on general sale Friday 3rd February at 9am GMT.
